A Day in the Life – 9/20/10

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? If so, I hope Amanda Rykoff is feeling very flattered right now, because I’m going to borrow an idea of hers. I’ve been struggling for content for my personal blog. Part of the reason for this is because I’m busy with work, and sincerely enjoying the downtime I get to spend with my boyfriend, Jess, and our dogs, Casey and Toby. I’m the president of the new NAWMBA Phoenix Professional Chapter (the first event is TONIGHT!) and I’m still training for various races, my next one being the Tucson Half Marathon in November.

With all that said, as a way to keep things interesting around here, I’m going to start including a daily log of my tweets… this will give you a little insight as to where my head was at yesterday, and the things that piqued my interest (or my ire). So here goes!

  • @TheBigLead I need 1 point from Reggie Bush to win. I’m guessing he gains 4 yards, fumbles, then twists his ankle. -2 pts and a loss for me
  • MLS Uses Unique Partnership to Prepare Sales Staff: My latest #SportsBiz post on TheBusinessOfSports.com: http://ow.ly/2H2Yk #MLS

  • @KammieK Hey girl, we need to catch up! Maybe yogurt this afternoon? (Or right now, I could do yogurt for lunch!)
  • @azrestaurantwk #ARW2010 Estate House! [EDITOR's NOTE - this tweet won me a gift certificate!]
  • @paulthenshirley Good luck with the surgery. Here’s hoping the anesthesiologist is having a good day!
  • #PHX friends-Have a room for rent/looking for a roommate? I know a cool person looking for a place asap. Esp #cenpho or S. Scottsdale-DM me

Ok, so yesterday was pretty thin… it was Monday, and I seem to be coming down with some kind of cold. I’m going to fight it like mad though, because tonight’s a big night. Hope today finds you all happy, healthy, and busy! God bless.
